ADEOS/TOMS
April 1999

ADEOS/TOMS was launched August 17,1996 and the first full day of data 
file generation was September 11, 1996. Data gathering continued until 
June 29, 1997, when contact was lost with the ADEOS spacecraft. 

The data and images provided in these directories were generated by the
TOMS data processing system at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center in
Greenbelt, Md.

             Contains details about the ADEOS/TOMS science algorithms,
	     data products and data file formats. PDF files can be read
	     with Adobe Acrobat software, which may be obtained free from
	                http://www.adobe.com.

Data availability:

This anonymous ftp site offers ASCII ozone, reflectivity, aerosol and 
uv data, and additional subsets of data, as well as daily ozone (global
and polar), uv, aerosol and reflectivity images, at the directory paths 
noted below.
