Pre-AVE

Drs. Paul A. Newman and Leslie R. Lait

During January 2004, the Pre-AVE mission was staged from Houston and San Jose, Costa Rica using the NASA WB-57F. Dr. Newman and Dr. David Fahey of the NOAA Aeronomy Lab served as co-project scientists for the mission. Dr. Leslie R. Lait was involved in the Pre-AVE mission by providing both forecasts and flight planning tools for the operation of the NASA WB-57F.
