Atmospheric dynamics, with emphasis on the stratosphere. Special interests: Reconstruction of atmospheric tracers using quasiconserved coordinates. Comparison of in situ meteorological data with gridded analyses. Sampling configuration strategies for satellite-based atmospheric measurements. Stratospheric meteorological support for high-altitude aircraft field experiments. Scientific data processing systems.
